Anita Bodenstein-Booyens is a South African visual artist based in Plettenberg Bay known for her expressive oil paintings on canvas and board, as well as her work in ceramics and mixed-media drawings on paper.
Her art explores social issues, often infused with satire and irony, moving between the real and the imaginary. She crafts visually compelling narratives that challenge perceptions and invite reflection.
She studied Fine Art at Pretoria Technikon ( now TUT) and has exhibited widely across South Africa primarily in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town.
