Consume for Your Pleasure

Through this artwork, I examine the ghostly presence of extinct species as a reflection of the fragility of wildlife caught in the path of human demand. I explore the insatiable human drive to possess, use, and discard, positioning our species as the ultimate apex consumer. By juxtaposing the visceral beauty of the natural world with the stark reality of our excess, I consider how our pursuit of comfort and status has become a death sentence for the wild.
