Created from a scan of bioplastics and digitally drawing, the image transforms the material’s folds, textures, and imperfections into a blooming form. Rather than simply depicting a flower, the work allows the material to generate its own imagery, reflecting the organic processes of transformation and development.

The image is only fully revealed through illumination, inviting viewers to look closely and consider the often-unseen labour of nurturing potential. Through light, a hidden bloom emerges, reflecting the ways growth and possibility are cultivated over time before becoming visible.
