Ngqiqo Ayakha Maja is a Pretoria-based multidisciplinary artist. His mediums are drawing and painting; he also does photography. His style is Impressionism and Contemporary art. He studied Arts and Design at Tshwane North TVET College.
His practice explores through acrylic and oil paints on canvas and wood, for his drawings he uses pen, charcoal, graphite and oil-based colour pencils. And for his photographs he uses a digital camera. The work he does aims at the underlying aspects of life that nobody really focuses on. His work is influenced by the colourful, decorative environment he grew up in.
