The brief for this piece was to design a poster for a fast food restaurant in South Africa. I was inspired by traditional Chinese porcelain and wanted to incorporate the striking monotone designs into my artwork. I’ve always been drawn to patterns and enjoyed the meditative process of painting the repetitive elements on each bowl.
