The Barcelona chair is a 20th-century icon of modern design, created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the German Pavilion at the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona. I enjoy the way light falls on leather and chrome. The chair is an object I that I have chosen to immortalise on paper because of its exquisite beauty and simplicity.
