My love for David Bowie began when I was six years old and watched Labyrinth for the first time. I rented the VHS every weekend and kept a scrapbook filled with images and memories from the film. That early fascination led me to discover Bowie’s music, artistry, and the worlds he created through performance and reinvention.
For me, Bowie represented freedom,  the ability to constantly evolve, to present yourself in different roles, and to exist without needing to fit into one fixed identity. His work shaped not only my creative sensibility, but also the way I see art as a space for transformation, imagination, and self-expression. The world is undeniably a better place because he was in it, and this exhibition is both a celebration of his legacy and a personal tribute to the profound impact he has had on my life and imagination.
