One is not Born, but Becomes

The construction of identity is as much something we do as it is done to us. This piece seeks to explore the incongruous nature of non-normative experience of subjective experience and the externalities that seek to impose dissonant ideals of order upon the subject. Some may find comfort in the familiar while others seek reinvention and are abjectified in the process of non-conformity.
