Sinead Fletcher holds a BTech in Fine Art from the University of Johannesburg, awarded in 2018. During her studies, she presented her honours body of work in a group exhibition at Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg, marking an early milestone in her professional practice. Fletcher’s work has since been featured in several group exhibitions across South Africa, including at Art@Africa in Cape Town, the Julie Miller Gallery at Mall of Africa, and ArtBox Gallery in Pretoria. Her practice has received recognition in several national competitions: she was selected among the top 100 finalists for Sasol New Signatures in 2021, and for the Thami Mnyele Art Competition in 2019 and 2022. In 2021, she was awarded an Honourable Mention in the Thami Mnyele Art Competition.
