Uncovered

In response to the jewellery piece Humility, Uncovered depicts a figure draped in fabric, illuminated by a soft golden light. The folds of the fabric echo the quiet presence of the earrings, while golden accents reflect the metal's finish and vintage character. The figure draws a cross in the soil as a gesture of openness, suggesting that vulnerability begins with uncovering what has been kept hidden. The partially veiled face reflects the hesitation that often accompanies this delicate and intimate process. In dialogue with both the earrings and another work of mine in the exhibition, the cross poses a quiet question: will you show me how you feel, cross your heart?
