The hare, an herbivore mammal, belongs to genus Lepus and is believed to feed best at full moon. It symbolises fertility and renewal. I framed its portrait in a circle, which represents the moon and the cycle of nature’s renewal. The image was carved from cuttle fish bone which makes this pendant a unique once-off casting.
