My work is inspired by social issues, poverty, despair, unequal opportunities, neglect and abuse. I have been going through a lot of stress, anxiety, darkness and despair lately. The use of hubbly bubbly represents seeking distraction and relief from unpleasant realities. I use the hubbly to calm and or to escape from pain, stress and or other social issues I’m going through. The reason behind the hollow square on the face is to represent darkness, emptiness and void. It represents being clueless, not knowing or being sure of where you going.
