Karin van Rooyen

Karin was born In Bloemfontein 14 March 1975.

She grew up in Durban Natal. From a very young age she was drawn to

the creative. Music and Art was her greatest interests.

Her Mother was a Opera Singer and she was exposed to the Theatre

and the Arts. After she matriculated she moved to Johannesburg and

now currently resides in Georges Valley Tzaneen Limpopo.

Her Medium is mostly Oils and Only works with the Pallet Knife.

Her biggest inspiration came when doing a master class via Book from

the artist Macaw. I love to paint mostly Figures and in a more

contemporary style. Leaving all facial expressions. Some say its

contemporary art but still borders on fine art.
