Some Missing Petals

This pendant’s design originated from the brass casing of a 9mm pistol bullet. The force of the ignited gun powder resulted in this flower-shaped debris. A shot was fired towards a bullet-proof target, which resulted in some petals being blown away completely on impact. This work is dedicated to all families who have lost loved ones because of gun violence. These victims will surely be missed by their families as missing petals on a flower.
