Artist statement:
My work is an excavation of the layers that constitute a life. I am drawn to the ancient Kremetart tree, seeing its majesty and stature as a map of lived experience. Using a language of fragmented blocks and earthy colours, I deconstruct its form to explore the architecture of our own being. Each piece is a meditation on how we are built from memories and interactions—some weathered and scarred, others signalling new growth. It is an embrace of the complex, textured nature of our own history.
