The installation Scream for a dream consists small instant pockets to peer into moments of rage and chaos depicted in the sea. I have etched the sound waves of my cathartic screams into the ocean on the instax film images. Symbols of unrest, power, frustration and fragility are captured. Items on the beach were found and captured as is. The hanging of photos is synonymous to hanging on a washing line, that is, hanging out raw emotion, passion, freedom, thus challenging the domestic expectation and role of woman. The water clears and cleanses, the screams echoes back into the chaos of the waves, a mutual understanding, as they crash into a calm.
