Revival

My artwork was inspired by the pressure of expectation that many people, particularly creatives, experience in everyday life. Society often encourages individuals to conform to certain standards, which can make it difficult to express what is unique, personal and creative within them.

In the artwork, the subject is bringing the dull and generic side of herself back to life. This transformation represents a return to her authentic identity and a reconnection with the creative part of herself that has been suppressed by expectation. Through this process, she begins to feel more alive, more expressive and more fully herself.
