Artist Statement

Brass knuckles, knuckle dusters, the iron fist. Whichever term you choose to use, this palm sized weapon is illegal in many countries and is unique due to the almost intimacy of the violence it is used for. However, this changes if this small weapon is enlarged beyond use.

The violence falls away with the manipulation of scale, and a once deadly weapon becomes an interesting object to be interacted with.
