Wild dogs were exterminated, particularly by farmers in Namibia and South Africa as they were seen as vermin.

They were also critically endangered in the 80’s and 90’s but fortunately conservation has turned this around and they are on their way to recovery. Then And Now, the future looks bright for wild dogs.
