Artist Statement

As part of the Composite Workshop, the artist engaged with a personal object that had held significance for over two decades. This object was deconstructed into fragments and reconfigured through the processes of photomontage, collage, frottage, and impasto.

These material explorations allowed her to engage deeply with the layering of memory and its fractured nature. Within this process, certain elements persist as traces of the past, while others are re-contextualized into a reality of recognition and lived experience. The three works reflects both the vulnerability of memory and its capacity to be reshaped into new forms of meaning.
