Little Autumn Sparrow

Mariette Minnaar, born in Johannesburg, holds a degree in Fine Arts and Education from the University of the North West. She is based in Pretoria, where she works as an artist, adjudicator at youth art festivals, and art teacher.

 Throughout her career, Mariette has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and her works are housed in private collections in South Africa, the USA, Australia, and New Zealand. She is deeply passionate about art, teaching, and empowering the youth in her community. Her practice centres on storytelling through painting and mixed media, both on canvas and in murals.
