Katara

I am a sculptor working with traditionally modelling clay, mould making, and my signature material is PVC recycled plastic. I do live size sculptures of human figures and wild animals, depicting their movement and other objects such as musical instruments.

My inspiration comes from my surrounding of the people I see every day and the love of music. I capture the nature of both human being and musical instruments; how the people and music relate.

My work is a clear depiction and of proportional figures of human figures and musical instruments with faded effect of the work that is done in recycled PVC plastic and recycled iron zinc. The faded effect represents the time that everything in this world is not permanent, everything come and go.
