Exuberance

Artist’s statement:

I hail from an extended family of artists in one form or another. I have always found ways to express my creativity in my career as medical practitioner and scientist, but DNA will prevail. It is this spiral shape of DNA, as well as other spirals; from galaxies to the umbilical cord; to mathematical equations such as the “Fibonacci sequence of numbers” represented in so many

organic forms, that compels me to now evolve into a textile artist and photographer. I invite the

viewer to stand with me in awe of nature in its immeasurable vastness.
