Artist statement

I use a range of media and techniques in my artwork to create depth and layered

effects. My aim is to invite viewers to engage with, and appreciate, the subtle details

within each work. These details reflect the shifting shapes and colours that emerge

through nature’s continuous cycles of transformation: growth, the fleeting beauty of

full bloom, and decay. The ever-changing environment, shaped by the powerful

forces of water, wind, fire, and earth, reminds us of the existential threat facing all

living species and reinforces the need to appreciate nature and live sustainably.
