Crescendo

 In Crescendo I engage with the cosmic element of fire in the context of nature's cycles of evolution, destruction, and renewal. The title references the musical term crescendo, meaning a gradual increase in intensity or volume. I use it as a metaphor for the escalating pace and impact of environmental change, widely regarded as evidence that the Earth is entering an inescapable Sixth Extinction.
