Blinded by Faith

Artist statement:

Religion has provided comfort from the fear of death long before the arrival of science and technology and therefore, religious beliefs have, for the most part, opposed any form of progress. While the bible states that God has made man in his image, many great thinkers have said that man has made God in his image. Transhumanists, on the other hand, are of the opinion that, eventually, humanity will transform itself into God.

There will be a long battle between the religious and transhumanists before a trans/post-human state can be achieved
