Bad Banana

This work represents lust and sex, a crucial part of life, creation and society. Sex is sought after, sex is everywhere, sex sells. And yet it is also something that can be damaging in many ways if approached without caution.

The work shows a banana, a common object found world wide, which is slightly on the ripe side with spikes starting to emerge and protrude from the skin. Sex and lust can be viewed the same way, ripe, ready for the taking, found everywhere and yet it can turn bad very quickly.
