Where I've Been, I Remain. Solo Exhibition by Vutomi Fame Sithole

There are exhibition openings that celebrate remarkable artworks, and then there are those that remind us why art matters in the first place. Where I’ve Been, I Remain has been one of those truly special occasions.

The opening was filled with warmth, meaningful conversations, and genuine connection. Spending time with the artist and hearing her speak about the journey behind this body of work how every step we take, and every person who walks alongside us, leaves a lasting imprint was both moving and inspiring. Her gentle spirit and sincere passion for her work shone through every conversation, making the evening feel incredibly personal.

Perhaps the most heartwarming part of the evening was witnessing the community that gathered around her. Friends, family, fellow artists, and supporters came together not only to celebrate this beautiful exhibition, but also to honour her own journey as an artist. Seeing so many people show up to encourage and support her was a powerful reminder that while our paths are uniquely our own, they are often made richer by those who choose to walk beside us.

Where I’ve Been, I Remain is now officially open, and we warmly invite you to experience this thoughtful exhibition for yourself. Through beautifully worn shoes that quietly carry stories of resilience, growth, memory, and identity, the exhibition encourages us to reflect on our own journeys and the traces we leave behind.

We look forward to welcoming you to the gallery.
