Tshegofatso Masemola

Tshegofatso Maleke Masemola (born in 2003) is an artist from Ga Masemola, Limpopo, whose creative journey began at a very young age when she drew cartoons from TV. Growing up in an environment with little exposure to art and formal training, her naturally realistic style quickly set her apart from her peers. She transformed the otherness into a driving force, teaching herself various techniques and discovering that her unique vision extended far beyond a child's expression.

Now a third-year student at Tshwane University of Technology studying a Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts. Specialising in Ceramics and Glass, Tshegofatso steadily refines her craft through formal education. Her unwavering dedication to art fuels her ambition to be recognized in the art world and to inspire others to pursue their passions, with her work centred on themes of embracing oneself, celebrating individuality, and promoting self-acceptance.
