Sandile Mavundla, born in 2003 in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Is a fine artist who is currently pursuing his diploma in fine and applied studio art in the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria. He is currently based in Pretoria, Sunnyside. Sandile specializes in the medium painting and glass currently at the Tshwane University of Technology and his work reflects on memory, spiritual, disconnection, and the unseen presence and absence of his late grandmother. He uses his art to express the quite ways his late grandmother is always been his guidance angel in his life, the light and the protector. His work invites viewers to come and feel emotions and interact. Sandile draws inspiration from from people whom are he values and are close to him as well as other life experiences.
