Khensani Tabase Nkosi

She is a contemporary multi-disciplinary artist based in Johannesburg, South Africa, whose work delves into the intricate tapestry of memory, identity, and the feminine experience within a post-colonial context. Through practice encompassing glass, textile art, and installation, she utilizes the materiality of fabric, hair, and evocative symbolism to explore themes of fashion, personal narrative, and the silent languages of the body.

Her process is deeply intuitive, often involving the layering of personal photographs, patterning, and text to create works that are both intimate and politically resonant. She holds a Diploma of Arts in Fine Art from the Tshwane University of Technology.
