Kgomotso Mtsweni is a multidisciplinary artist based in Pretoria, Gauteng. She began working with
glass and mixed media during her studies at the Tshwane University of Technology, where she
obtained her Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts. She recently completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts. For the past 2 years, she worked as a glass studio assistant at the Tshwane University of Technology, gaining hands on experience in studio practice, production and technical glass work. In September 2025, she participated in an artist residency in the United States of America, where she delivered artist talk presentations at BAGI in San Francisco, Public Glass, and San Jose State University. During her residency, she also worked and experimented in various glassblowing studios, further expanding her technical and conceptual approach to glass as an artistic medium.
