Joshua Maharaj (born 2001), works across print, drawing, and sculpture, finding inspiration from everyday life in South Africa. His artworks explore South African identities and ways of being, with a particular focus on the post-apartheid context.
He has exhibited at the Trent Gallery, the Tlhagella exhibition at Javett-UP, The Gallery at Ballito, and Sasol New Signatures (2024, 2025), as well as completed a residency at Nirox Sculpture Park. He also has stonework and casting experience with DSW.
