Biography
Ivan du Toit
Ivan du Toit was born in 1971 in South Africa. After his schooling, he went on to study a BA Fine
Arts Degree, at the University of Pretoria
In 1997 Ivan had the opportunity to move to Greece, where he established himself as a portrait
painter.
Ivan has always had a great passion for traveling, and the experience it brings. Through working
with, and experiencing many cultures, doing their portraits as street projects, has given him a
unique insight into his other favorite topic, people.
He has worked in many different mediums, including sculpture, painting and music, to express his
passion
Ivan has a strong painting style, with both bold colours and topics. He has his own voice, which
carries on powerful colour, and provocative concepts. Creating engaging and thought provoking
works of art
Ivan's work belongs to both public and private collections.
